Congress MLA Birjit Sinha said, that if the police do not take any action, the situation may get worse.

“We have evidence of who are behind this shameful incident. They just want to disturb the law and order situation and break the peace in the locality. Police must take immediate action against the culprits,” said Sinha.

Birjit Sinha’s statement came when the Congress agitators encircled the police station in protest against Rajib Gandhi’s statue vandalism on June 4, after the Lok Sabha election result was declared.
