AGARTALA, June 7 (TIWN): Mungiakami police arrested two illegally entered Rohingyas.
One of the arrestees is a woman. They were detained by the local police during the NAKA checking in ??41 Miles area under Mungiakami police station of Teliamura subdivision.
According to police, three people were coming in an E-Rickshaw, but suddenly after seeing police on NAKA duty, one of them got down from the Tomtom and ran away, which triggered suspicion.
Police rushed to the E-Rickshaw and were successful in arresting two of them.
The E-Rickshaw driver claimed that when he was at Ampi Chowmuhani in Telamura, three persons hired him and he has no further information about them.
