NEW DELHI / AGARTALA, June 5 (TIWN): Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDIA) leaders held a meeting in Delhi at Congress National President Mallakarjun Kharge’s residence, attended by various aligned parties’ leaders from different states. During the meeting, various discussions took place regarding the upcoming strategy. At the end of the meeting, INDIA issued a joint statement, which was made public by Congress National President Mallakarjun Kharge. The meeting went on exceeding two hours on Thursday evening lining a final decision that was later released through the press briefing by Kharge.
The statement said, “The constituents of INDIA bloc thanked the people of India for the overwhelming support reassured by our alliance. The people’s mandate has given a befitting reply to the BJP and its politics of hate, corruption and deprivation. This is a mandate in defense of the constitution of India and against price rise, unemployment, and crony capitalism and also to save democracy. The India block to continue to fight against the fascist rule of the BJP led by Modi. We will take the appropriate steps at the appropriate time to realise the people’s desire not to be ruled by the BJP government and this is our decision.”
The statement also ensured all the given promises by INDIA to the people will be fulfilled.
