AGARTALA, June 4 (TIWN): West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee targetted BJP after Trinamool Congress’s remarkable performance in the state amid dozens of cases filed during the poll season in West Bengal.
“Today BJP should learn that rigging can not make you a winner always,” said Banerjee.
“I congratulate everyone here and who are watching me from far. I congratulate everyone for this victory,” said Banerjee.
“I also congratulate the journalists even though you could not stay with us and worked against us. But it happened because of your editor’s directions,” she said.
“I congratulate Akhilesh. He will win in the upcoming state poll. Bihar result is half-truth,” she added.
“No election can not be run by three months but it happened. Narendra Modi wanted to bring a new law by expelling 147 MPs, but can’t do it because his party did not get two two-thirds majority,” said Banerjee.
“Our few candidates could not win, because they were not allowed to win....... but we are not sad. They are brave,” Mamata Banerjee said.
