Cyclone Remal is weakening ; Tripura Govt breathed sigh of relief

AGARTALA, May 28 (TIWN): With the weakening Cyclonic, Tripura Govt has expressed relief.
Addressing media, CM Dr. Manik Saha said, “It’s great news that the cyclone is losing intensity.
Minister Sushanta Chowdhury said, “Though the cyclone has eased its tight grip still, Tripura has faced tremendous losses because of that. Our Government is keenly monitoring the situation under CM Dr Manik Saha’s leadership.”
Cyclone Remal has severely impacted many families in Tripura, causing widespread destruction, including uprooted trees and disrupted power supply.
Efforts are underway to restore essential services across the state.
Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha also visited relief camps which were set at Agartala Bordowali constituency.
