AGARTALA, May 20 (TIWN): CPI-M youth and student wings to launch protests against falling education, health, law and order situations.
Addressing a press meet, organized by DYFI, TYF, SFI and TSU, Nabarun Deb, secretary of DYFI put a light on health services. He said, “BJP changed its CM and Tripura got a better CM than the previous joker CM. But when such propaganda is spread that Tripura CM is educated and a doctor, Tripura health services have left in a deplorable state.”
“Dialysis center is in a miserable state. Due to the water crisis, dialysis services are halted. State is first time experiencing TB medicine crisis. Not even one month’s TB medicine is in the stock. This never happened in Tripura before. CM Jana Arogya Jojona is a myth but nothing was implemented,” said Deb.
“No hospital staff is voicing against the situation out of fear but there are acute staff crisis. When we talk to patients they are revealing the overall situation,” said Deb.
The CPI-M wings also slammed the BJP govt over law and order situation, citing how NIA is arresting Tripura-based human traffickers proving a significant failure of Tripura police.
SFI, TSU further slammed the BJP govt over the education system, referring much-hyped 500 crore's Vidya Jyoti scheme and mass fails in Tripura schools in exchange for the scheme imposing huge fees on students.
