AGARTALA, May 14 (TIWN): Opposition leader Jitendra Chowdhury on Tuesday asked Ministers to go out of Agartala and witness the situation of how people are suffering due to day-to-day issues. CPI-M organized a protest rally in Agartala seeking relief from electricity, water crisis like issues. Addressing media, CPI-M State Secretary Jitendra Chowdhury said, “Tripura Govt has almost no existence. A kind of famine started across Tripura’s villages and hills. For the last few months, there has been no work in the village areas but the government is silent. Due to the storm, landslide was reported in a few places, and railway services were affected. The petrol crisis has broken all records. Same situation at CNG stations.”
“Weeks after weeks, the electric poles are not being repaired after storms affected electricity services. Yesterday, I visited Longtarai Valley. For the last 5 to 6 years, there have been no electricity services. We want the government’s interference in the entire issue,” said Jitendra Chowdhury.
