AGARTALA, May 10 (TIWN): Bishramganj Market traders detained a drug dealer with brown sugar and tied him to a tree, and informed to the police station.

After receiving the information, the police rushed to the spot and rescued the arrested drug dealer along with drugs in the market and took them to the police station. 

The dealer identified as Jasim Mia, an alleged drug dealer of Bagma Karuimura area has been selling brown sugar in various areas, including Bishramganj Bazar, for a long time. 

Earlier, the local traders of Bishramganj Market asked Jasim Miah to not sell drugs in the area, but he did not pay attention to the words of the market traders. On Friday, when he came to sell drugs in the area, the local traders detained him and handed him over to the police. The police brought him to PS for interrogation.
