AGARTALA, April 15 (TIWN): Union Home Minister Amit Saha in his Kumarghat rally assured the tribal population that nobody will be deprived of any housing scheme and there would be no tribal who would not have a home to live. “Modi government is sending free rice to all and Tripura people are also getting it. Free gas-cylinder distribution continues and more Rs. 3 crores sanctioned for the housing scheme. There would not be anyone in this tribal community who would not have a home to survive. This is Modi’s guarantee,” said Amit Shah.
Shah mentioned how the BJP Govt built a statue of King Bir Bikram Manikya at Agartala MBB Airport, alleging the Communists wanted to remove the King’s name from history.
Talking about the recently signed MoU about Tripura tribal community, “The agreement which was signed between Govt of India, Govt of Tripura and Tipra Motha, was aimed to avoid any conflict between Tipura’s Jati and Janjati communities.”
Shah said Tripura ADC area is one of the prioritized focuses of PM Modi.
Shah further said, two tribals of Tripura have been awarded Padmashree, and PM Modi has done this concerning the tribal culture.
