AGARTALA, April 14 (TIWN): Union Home Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to address a political rally in Kumarghat subdivision on Monday. On Sunday night, Shah has arrived in Tripura. He landed in Agartala Airport and taken to Hotel Polo Tower escorted by tight security setup. Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha, party president Rajib Bhattacharjee, former Deputy CM Jishnu Debbarman, West Tripura constituency candidate Biplab Deb, former MP Pratima Bhowmik were present to receive Amit Shah at the Agartala MBB Airport.
Amit Shah will address at Kumarghat in the presence of both East and West Tripura candidates tomorrow.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is also scheduled to visit Tripura on April 17.
BJP has nominated Biplab Deb as West Tripura constituency candidate and Kriti Singh as East Tripura constituency candidate.
Tripura elections will be held on April 19 for West Tripura Lok Sabha seat and on April 26 for the East Tripura constituency.
