AGARTALA, April 10 (TIWN): Tripura Congress President Asish Saha in the Badharghat election rally lambasted the BJP-led Tripura Govt as well as the Modi Govt accusing it of escalating attacks on the opposition. Saha said, even after so much of pressure and attacks on the opposition, the I.N.D.I.A. alliance is standing together and giving a tight fight to the BJP by standing beside the common men. Saha cited from arrests of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal to Tripura’s election experiences.

On the same day, Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha said, the opposition knows only one thing to do and that is to confuse the people.

Tripura Lok Sabha election will be held in two phases – West Tripura constituency election on April 19 and East Tripura on April 26.

I.N.D.I.A. has nominated Congress President Asish Saha as the West Tripura constituency candidate and Rajendra Reang as East Tripura candidate.
