AGARTALA, April 6 (TIWN): Former Chief Minister Manik Sarkar while addressing a rally organized by I.N.D.I.A. said, no jobs are happening in Tripura right now and whatever jobs are given, it’s influenced by heavy corruptions. Sarkar said, that in exchange for money PRTCs are given, jobs are given. “This is the situation of the state. Not only in Tripura but across the nation, job scarcity has hit the state. Would you accept a continuation of this tragedy ?” asked Manik Sarkar in the rally.
“Even with soldiers lives, the govt is playing,” said Sarkar.
He said, the “Agniveer” is unconstitutional and illegal and soldiers who save people’s lives and sacrifice their own lives to save the nation, should not be treated like this.
“Farmers, tribals, OBC, poor all are suffering due to the misrule of the BJP Govt. That’s why it’s important to unite to fight against the BJP,” he said.
Manik Sarkar joined the rally after BJP leaders continued to pull leg of the opposition citing Manik Sarkar led alleged boycotting of I.N.D.I.A. campaigning.
