AGARTALA, March 27 (TIWN): Congress national youth leader Kanhaiya Kumar was not present during I.N.D.I.A. alliance West Tripura Lok Sabha candidate Asish Saha submitted a nomination on Wednesday. Asish Saha who is also Tripura Congress state president said, “Yesterday evening we came to know that our request seeking permission for an evening mass gathering was declined by the authority. Kanhaiya Kumar was scheduled to be present today but at last moment the permission was rejected to be given.”
“They (ruling party) are afraid of Kanhaiya’s visit. Fearing about his popularity and public support, they have stopped the process of Kanhaiya’s joining in this nomination process. But Kanhaiya Kumar will visit Tripura for this Lok Sabha poll campaigning,” said Saha.
Asish Saha also said, people are giving massive responses to I.N.D.I.A. aligned candidates and he is confident that he will win the poll.
