AGARTALA, March 23 (TIWN): Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha while addressing at Juba Morcha rally said that Tripura’s health infrastructure has heavily improved in last 2 years.
“Since I became the chief minister and started visiting GB hospital, I found that the hospital lacks sufficient numbers of beds. The numbers of beds have been doubled in last 2 years,” said CM.
“Earlier the health services were pathetic in Tripura. People had no other option except traveling outside the state for better treatment,” said CM.
“Now in all sides, the health services improved and various equipment related to health services have been installed. Superspecialist hospital services are now available. Not only in health but in education sectors also, our state has going towards massive progress. Overall, it’s now a medical and educational hub,” said Dr Saha.
Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha has launched CM Jana Arogya Yojana covering 100% population with Rs. 5 lakhs of health benefits annually for them who could not cover by Ayushman Bharat Yojana.
