AGARTALA, March 12 (TIWN): A young man named Suman Sarkar was arrested by Amtali police with a huge quantity of Brown Sugar.

Amtali police said, that at around night 2 pm, the raid was held by police at Suman sarkar’s home in Phooltali and 164 grams of Brown Sugar was found in the home.

The seized items would be worth Rs. 8 lakhs, said police.

Amtali police also informed that Rs. 2.15 lakh cash was found from him.

Earlier also police raided his home but could not recover anything but this time he was caught with all evidence of drug peddling, said Amtali PS OC-Ranjit Debnath.
