AGARTALA, March 11 (TIWN): Tipra Motha supremo Pradyot Manikya on Monday organized a meeting with the Samajpatis (leaders within the tribal community). Talking to media, Pradyot Manikya said, he has organized the meeting to explain what are the points written in the tripartite agreement which was signed with Govt of India and Govt of Tripura. Manikya said, it is not a political meeting and a discussion about upcoming polls will be held with the Samajpatis.

He refused to reply to media questions, about whether his relative will be declared as MP candidate for the East Tripura constituency or not, amid the rumour that his cousin might get an MP seat from Tipra Motha in alliance with BJP.

Pradyot Manikya said the final decision will be taken by him.
