SABROOM, March 9 (TIWN): Addressing the 3rd land port inauguration program in Sabroom, Tripura, chief minister Dr. Manik Saha said, that under PM Modi’s leadership Tripura is witnessing a massive development and the face of Tripura is being changed gradually. PM Modi on Saturday has inaugurated the project virtually along with many other projects he dedicated to other Northeast states from Itanagar, Arunachal. “Prime Minister Narendra Modi always emphasizes Northeast development. PM says, without Northeast India’s development, development is never possible. He assured a HIRA for Tripura and truly under his leadership the face of Tripura is getting changed. You must have observed, how the capital city of Tripura is now beautified,” said CM Dr. Manik Saha.

“For Sikkim 500 crores, Nagaland 1,700 crores, Manipur 3500, Meghalaya crores 300 crores and for Tripura 8500 crores projects’ foundation stone laid off. For Tripura he has dedicated the highest budget,” said Saha.

CM declared that the Maitri bridge over the Sabroom Feni River will be inaugurated soon making Tripura the gateway for Southeast Asia, whereas using Chittagong port, trade and tourism will be grown.

“Due to PM Modi’s vision, the overall development has been possible for Tripura,” added CM.

The newly launched project includes water connectivity expansion, school foundation, eco-tourism, national highway, bridges, health services, etc.
