BELONIA, March 8 (TIWN): A housewife was attempted to be raped on Friday by a local person named Rajen Tripura in Belonia, Bharat Chandra Nagar.

The incident took place when the woman’s husband was not at home. After a while, her husband entered the home and the culprit attempted to escape from the spot.

When the husband tried to catch the culprit Rajen Tripura, he attacked him.

An FIR was lodged against the accused Rajen Tripura in Belonia PS.
