AGARTALA, Feb 27 (TIWN): Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha inaugurated 50 50-bed maternity ward in Udaipur’s Gomati District hospital. Addressing the occasion, CM said, “Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India is developing in all sectors including health. When developed countries’ conditions were miserable, India handled it in a much better way under PM Modi’s leadership. PM Modi called everyone to inspire Doctors and health staff by playing traditional devotional instruments. At that time, people mocked PM Modi but later, it was seen that when developed countries’ conditions were miserable, India tackled Covid in a much more better way.”
“Then within 9 months, India could invent Covid vaccine. Not only that India served over 100 countries with Covid vaccine under its Basudeva Kutumbekam policy. The whole world was surprised to see India’s success in Covid management,” said CM Manik Saha.
“PM Modi’s guarantees never fail. He knows how to run a country. During his Gujarat CM tenure, PM Modi used the state as his laboratory and after successful implementation of developmental policies there, PM Modi now is implementing those policies in nation building,” said CM Manik Saha.
“Health service of any state or nation is the parameter for the development. That’s why Ayushman Bharat was launched. In Tripura also, it was launched successfully but when I found that some people are still in distress and need help, our Govt started CM Jana Arogya Yojana, a parallel health scheme to serve the rest of the population,” CM added.
