AGARTALA, Feb 26 (TIWN): The Food Safety Department on Monday raided Cake Plaza and seized all expired food items from there.

Along with Cake Plaza, the Srikrishna Hot Chips shop was also sealed by the Food Safety authority. 

Various food items such as bread, cream, and roti which were expired had been used in the stores.

Officials said proper legal action will be taken against them for violating the food safety laws. Food Department staff also participated in the raid.
