AMBASSA, Feb 10 (TIWN): Addressing on the occasion of Ambassa's newly constructed Municipal Council office building inauguration program, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said due to road developments, helicopter uses have declined in the state. “Unless it is very urgent, we hardly use the copter. PM Modi has gifted us HIRA and he is the guarantee of guarantee. The highways have developed to that level that we do not need helicopters anymore. Overall Tripura’s face is changing. Earlier, only tall talks about development were done but in reality, nothing was done,” said CM.
“Dhalai is an aspirational district and whenever funds are sanctioned, 10 to 15% of the fund is given for Dhalai District development. Last 2 years Dhalai has received many new buildings and infrastructure development. For example double storied shelter for the homeless people, RCC covered drain and so many other things,” said CM.
“Many of you here are elected candidates. You have got the position because public trusted you and voted for you. So, you also have the responsibility to take care of people’s needs. Working for people is your main job,” CM told the public representatives in the hall.
CM further added that law and order have improved under BJP Govt, even though some people are trying to disturb the peace for political benefits.
