AGARTALA, Nov 28 (TIWN): The most senior citizen of Tripura Surendra Nath is still stable, surviving with his 88 family members in Dharmanagar, Jubaraj Nagar village’s Ward No-5.
Surendra Nath was born in 1895 during British regime. Surendra Nath is stable and can speak, and understands everything.
He was born in Uchail Parganah of Bengal but after India Pakistan division, in 1950, he came to India leaving East Pakistan (presently Bangladesh). He was a vegetable retailer at that time, and owned two houses.
He married twice. After his first wife died, he was married to Dipti Rani Das, who is still surviving.
With grandchildren and all family members, Surendra Nath is happily living with 88 family members.
