Longtarai Valley Anganwadi center workers staged a protest against selection of new candidate for the Anganwadi center allegedly by Mandal. New candidate Purabi Das was selected who is already a Panchayat member, according to locals.

Voicing against that locals protested. They said, the incumbent employee named Mamata Das’s mother had opened the center and after her mother’s death, she has been working but now Mamata been removed from the center which is unacceptable.
