AGARTALA, Nov 14 (TIWN): Praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Central Minister, MP Pratima Bhowmik said, it’s PM Modi who has held nation’s pride high at the world-level. “Narendra Modi is such a leader on whose request, 10 lakhs subsidised senior citizens gave up their subsidies for nation-building within a day of Modi’s request. Same with the gas cylinder subsidy. People have faith in Narendra Modi and it’s true if the money is distributed properly development is guaranteed. Pratima Bhowmik was addressing at Agartala Press Club program, organized by Seba o Sohayata Parishad to send relief materials to Manipur. “PM Modi became ‘diskshit’ (spiritually trained) under Swami Vivekananda’s ideology and made India proud as under his leadership, India has made a remarkable place for itself on the global-stage.

Bhowmik further recalled Swami Vivekananda’s message “Service to men is service to God”, advising the audience to connect themselves more with social works.
