The incident took place at around 10.30 pm on Diwali night. The cause of the fire could not be known.

Getting information, Fire Brigade engine rushed to the spot and controlled the fire but by that time, the house was burnt.

Approximately 10 to 12 lakhs of losses were reported by the house owners Bishal Deb and Priya Deb.
