Today one of the accused persons named Gopal Singh was arrested. The deceased Amit Acharjee’s father Dilip Acharjee and family rushed to the West Agartala Police station.

The family has demanded the death penalty for all accused persons.

According to police, a total 5 persons case was registered and counter cases were also filed against Late Amit Acharjee alleging he had also attacked others.

Amit Acharjee who was injured in the clash, was admitted to GB Hospital for 7 days. Then Amit Acharjee was referred to RN Tagore hospital in Kolkata but on 23rd September he died.

So far FIR was lodged against 5 persons. Today, absconding Gopal Singh was arrested.
