AGARTALA, Nov 3 (TIWN): Cabinet Minister Tinku Roy claimed a jump of revenue by exporting with Bangladesh, comparing the export net worth of Rs. 6 crores in 2017 and Rs. 250 crores in 2022-23. The Minister was addressing a program organized by Gramin Bank at Pragna Bhawan. Making a remark over Narendra Modi’s leadership, Tinku Roy said, Prime Minister Modi’s dream of making India Viswa Guru by 100 years of India’s independence is visionary and Tripura too can be a part of it.
“India was lagging behind but you must have seen how India is now emerging as a leading country. Our G-20 was so successful”, said Roy.
“When in 2017, Tripura’s export with Bangladesh worth only Rs. 6 crores, in 2023 it’s Rs. 250 crores. It means our youth are getting engaged in business, revenue generations”, said Minister Tinku Roy.
