AGARTALA, Oct 23 (TIWN): On the last day of Durga puja huge gathering was observed at Agartala Durga Bari on Monday. Thousands of devotees gathered at Agartala Durga Bari to offer ‘anjali’ on Maha-Nabami. Across the state in various Durga, Kali temples the festival was celebrated with full devotion. In clubs, houses the festival has been celebrated since October 20. Nabami is the 3rd day of Durga puja when the Goddess is worshipped for her superior power and winning over the evil. The Durga puja will end tomorrow with Bijoya Dashami. Chief Minister Manik Saha has offered prayers at Agartala Durga Bari today morning.
“I have prayed for Tripura’s development and welfare of the all people of the state Tripura”, said CM Manik Saha to media while leaving the temple after puja.
