AGARTALA, Sep 23 (TIWN): GB hospital technician Rakesh Mallik was arrested in connection to a serious theft incident that was conducted by blocking oxygen pipelines and cutting copper wires.
Today, he has been sent to 5 days police remand.
Rakesh Mallik is a resident of West Bengal.
NCC Police under 94/23 U/S-380 had arrested him based on GB Medical superintendent’s observation. Police now will interrogate him to find out who else can be involved in that case.
17/9/2023 oxygen line had dropped suddenly and soon it was found that the copper line was cut. After doctor complained, it was alleged that the technician was repeatedly visiting the spot. In this connection, he was arrested.
