AGARTALA, Sep 23 (TIWN): Fish farm was damaged by unknown miscreants in Khowai’s Singhichara causing massive losses to a farmer named Biswajit Namasudra.
It is alleged that out of rivalry this action was taken by some enemy group.
Biswajit Namasudra has been involved in fishing cultivation for a long time and that was his only source of income, but on Saturday morning a morning walker saw the situation of Biswajit’s water body and called him.
Allegation raised against one Subrata Namasudra for doing this notorious activity.
Earlier, Subrata had threatened Biswajit asking him to stop fishing business. Biswajit was threatened many times by Subrata Namasudra.
Biswajit Namasudra alleged that he has been facing a loss of at least 1.5 lakhs.
