AGARTALA, Aug 24 (TIWN): With the complex and stressful lifestyle rain stroke cases are rising at a faster rate globally as well as in Tripura. Talking about the causes of Blood Pressure and how to prevent it, Tripura GB Hospital Doctors organized a press meet as a part of awareness regarding how to prevent brain stroke. Dr. Kanak Chowdhury said, “There are certain causes of brain stroke but the main cause is the blood pressure that needs to be controlled. Now, first of all, blood pressure patients should not skip the medicine. It has been seen that sometimes, blood pressure patients who forget taking medicines for two days, have suffered through blood pressure”.
“When Brain Stroke happens, it’s due to too much bleeding or may be due to no blood circulation in brain. In Tripura it’s mainly because of too much bleeding. When people abuse body with drugs, alcohol, smoking, tobacco it’s high risk for such patients”, said Dr. Chowdhury.
Diabetes, lifestyle can also be blamed for brain strokes.
The Medical experts put stress upon proper dieting, regular exercise, no alcohol/smoking like abuses. Those who work mostly in office which prevent them from moving much, should move from chair and walk regularly.
