It is known that an auto numbered TR 06 2644 from Khowai Motor Stand headed towards Chebri with six passengers, and while overtaking, it overturned in a paddy field.

This incident took place in Khowai Sonatala Majumdar neighborhood.

Local people in the area informed the fire brigade about the incident and the fire brigade team had rescued the injured and brought them to Khowai district hospital. Then two injured persons were referred from Khowai District Hospital to Agartala GB Hospital.
