Agartala, Jan 26 (TIWN):A case of attempted molestation on women BSF constable was registered at Kalamchaura police station in Tripura’s Sepahijala district, under section IPC 353, 354 and 34. According to the case filed, it was stated that on Sunday noon, a group of smugglers led by notorious miscreants Aminool and Salim tried to molest a women BSF of patrolling party.

Few months back women constable  of BSF was inducted in the state frontier to guard the Indo – Bangladesh international border.  

The incident happened with women constable of 108 BSF battalion belonging to E- company. 

Around 10 women constable was on patrol at Parchism Para along Indo – Bangla border under Kalamchaura police station.

During patrol they challenged  a group of suspected smugglers to stop. Then two  notorious criminals reportedly have the blessing ruling CPI(M) - Salim Mia and  Aminool Islam attempted to molest one of the woman constable and  tried to take her to Bangladesh forcefully. After getting resistance from the fellow women constables, the smuggler managed to flee away.

A police officer of Kalamchaura police station informed that a massive man hunt was launched to nab the miscreants.
