KALYANPUR, June 27 (TIWN): Allegation against Kalyanpur Police for helping Drug Peddlers. Public complained to SDPO.

Locals said, due to drug peddling on rise, there is a constant tension in the society but the police officials are not doing their duty as they should have done.

“For the past several days, complaints of intoxication were coming from several areas under Kalyanpur. In many cases, a wide drama in the name of police raids has taken place more than once but later the smugglers are released”, said a local.

According to the locals, several police personnel have a close relationship with known drug dealers in the area.
