Power crisis has worsened in city and more than that in areas like  Kumarghat and Longtarai Valley along with boosting demand of power. Owing to the negligence of Kumarghat TSEL sub division, power supply remains unsatisfactory.

 

Electricity consumers are in for harder times as the solution to the prevailing epileptic power supply being witnessed in the state since long time is not yet in sight. The situation has forced the TSCEL to resort to load shedding which has thrown several parts of the state into darkness for several hours in some area; week and month in several others.

 

Electricity consumers in the affected area are groaning under the erratic power supply. Most time, TSCEL restores light at odd hours when people are away at work or at night when there fast asleep.
