AGARTALA / KAILASHAHAR, June 17 (TIWN): A brave fire brigade young official after the Babur Bazar fire incident in Kailashahar told media that sometimes due to poor connectivity, disruptions in BSNL lines, the fire brigade workers are not informed in time about any fire incident and that needs to be fixed and replaced with a better connectivity. The fireman was talking to media after extinguishing the fire at Babur Bazar, Kailashahar where over 35 shops were burnt into ashes.
He said, “It’s sad that sometimes due to poor connectivity, we are not informed sometimes on time but today, we got information on time and as soon as we heard about it, without asking the phone caller’s identity we have rushed to the spot and with help of locals this fire has been brought under control. Without the help of common men, we can not do this task alone”.
The official also appealed to the Govt that there should be proper arrangements for water so that as soon as such fire reports come, there should not be any issue.
However, the official’s name could not be collected yet to reward him through the news.
In this regard, it can be mentioned here that the Udaipur Fire Brigade office, which is located on bank of Jagannath lake is suffering due to water crisis as the lake has turned artificially dry due to Govt’s slow-going project.
