KAILASHAHAR, June 17 (TIWN): Around 35 shops were burnt to ashes in Baburbazar in Kailasahar late on Friday night.
It is said that the amount of damage will be around 2 crore rupees.
Babur Bazar is the largest market in Kailashahar, and due to the fire incident in this market there is intense tension in the concerned area.
The fire suddenly broke out in the shop of Haji Akbar Ali in Baburbazar late last night. About 35 shops in that market area were burnt to ashes. However, the cause of the fire is not yet known.
Fire department personnel reached the spot and brought the fire under control. Besides, information was sent to Irani police station in Kailashahar.
On receiving the information, a large number of police force of Irani police station and TSR forces reached the spot and started rescue operations.
