AGARTALA, June 14 (TIWN): Opposition leader Animesh Debbarma condemned the attack on TISF student activists, who were peacefully protesting demanding Roman script for Kokborok language at Circuit house.
Three girls are seriously injured in this incident.
Talking to media, Animesh Debbarma said, “They are students. They should not be tortured like this. Initially, administration should talk to the students first but without talking such actions are unexpected”.
“Many Educated leaders are in this Govt but there are lots of half educated and they are reasons for such injured. Each injured students must be taken care properly in this hospital”, said Animesh Debbarma.
The opposition leader also asked for a high-level investigation into the incident.
