AGARTALA, June 12 (TIWN): Rising Drug-Peddling hit the law and order of the state, taking the young generation towards destruction.

A Hyderabad youth was arrested in North Tripura with 26,870 cough syrup bottles worth Rs. 1.5 crores.

Talking to media, SP Bhanupada Chakraborty said, a vehicle was seized based on secret source’s information that was given to police about the drug-transportation. The vehicle bearing number JH07 L 9873 was seized by police with phensedyl stocks.

For the sake of investigation police did not disclose other details.
