AGARTALA, June 10 (TIWN): Govt of Tripura in last two years has been propagating a lot about starting new Institutions like Film Industry amid its failure to provide employment to the Music College passed-out job aspirants. Recently CM Manik Saha mentioned that well-known schools of Tripura have been converted into CBSE and also given under Vidyajyoti scheme but does the Chief Minister know that Vidyajyoti schools are recruiting teachers through ‘Direct Recruitment’ through walk-in-interview for the temporary posts in music, dance, yoga teachers’ vacancies? Udaipur subdivision’s 100 years old Kirit Bikram Institution (KBI) which was brought under Vidyajyoti school published an advertisement for extra curriculum teachers’ recruitment but all are for temporary posts.
Such initiatives are breaking the backbone of education and also failing to decrease unemployment. Moreover, direct recruitment has been questioned over the transparency of such a recruitment process.
National Education Policy-2020 has been launched in Tripura and Chief Minister Manik Saha claimed that it will improve the Education system massively and Tripura students will be nationally competent, but if with temporary teachers computer/ yoga/ sport education continues, how far it can provide quality training, it’s under question-mark.
