Unnecessary harassment allegation raises against a Police constable of Rangamura Outpost in Belonia

AGARTALA, June 9 (TIWN): Vishnu Kanti Dey along with his family appeared in Belonia court on Friday afternoon on charges of molestation, looting and unnecessary harassment of the people of the house against Police constable Apan Uchai, who was on duty in Rangamura Outpost. It is to be noted that last Tuesday, police constable Apan Uchai entered the house of Bishnu Kanti, a resident of Radhanagar Lakshi Saha Para under Rangamura outpost, in the middle of the night in an inebriated state in name of a search operation without any female police or any valid court documents. After entering in their house, he became a gangster from the police, allegedly.

The Police constable Apan Uchai is accused of touching the woman's body. Also, it is alleged that in the absence of the houseowner, the door lock was broken and entered the house. In the name of house search, house goods were stolen, allegedly. The police constable's heinous incident has erupted fear in the entire Rajnagar Assembly area.

According to sources, every evening the policeman turned out a goon in drink state. Allegations were raised against the police official that no search operation is being conducted against real drug dealers in the area.

The general public is looking at what action will be taken against this police constable by the senior officials of the security administration.
