AGARTALA, June 9 (TIWN): CPI-M’s student wing TSU has demanded that the students who are studying in other states in courses like nursing, B.Ed should be given stipend on time.
TSU Secretary Sujit Tripura said, “It is seen that students who are getting help from the State Govt financially are getting their stipend after completion of the semester or 1 year but it’s not helping them when the need the stipend. So we demand that Govt should give the stipend on time”.

TSU also raised the meal stipend matter that after sharing OTP the students will get the amount and that should be changed.
Sujit further said, “There are many students who are living in villages and they do not get OTP due to various reasons including network or recharge issues. So what we demand is there should be an alternative method for them who can not use the technical method”.
TSU placed total 4 demands on behalf of the students.
