AGARTALA, June 8 (TIWN): Tripura Power Minister Ratan Lal Nath continues to blame the consumers behind the power cut problems in his state.
Minister Ratan Lal Nath has been always an expert in dumping his own failures on others and now when power-cuts are hitting Tripura, he is accusing public for “overusing” Electricity, causing Power-Cuts.
But India’s big cities like Kolkata, Hyderabad, Mumbai etc are covering ten times bigger areas than Agartala where power-cut is a rare incident and if transformer or any issue even erupts, within before an hour these issues are solved. From that angle, how could Nath say that consumers are responsible for power-cuts?
‘Do not use unnecessary Electricity because I don’t know when Rain will Occur’, added Ratan Lal Nath. He further explained how over-load can cause transformer issues. ‘We have a call center. People continue to call there but actually power-cut happens due to people’s mistakes when they do not use electricity properly. Call at 1912 and you will come to know everything’, said Nath.
‘Many bring false complaints that call center does not reply but it’s false. I myself tested. They receive call but you have to hold the call for a long time if they do not respond immediately. Don’t lose patience. There are constant employees’, said Nath.
Earlier, Ratan Lal Nath asked AC users to use two-phased lines to avoid transformer bursts.
