AGARTALA, June 6 (TIWN): Smuggling, Drug, Illegal intrusion continue in Tripura causing huge problems inside the state. Police force statewide remain alert to control such activities. In such a successful drive, Airport PS Police were successful to catch two illegally entered women in the area. Reportedly, on Tuesday while roaming suspiciously in front of the Agartala MBB Airport, two Bangladeshi women were arrested by the police. Later, after questioning them, it was found that they came to India with the help of a Bangladeshi citizen, a local person.
The airport police station started an investigation into this matter. After the investigation, a house belonging to the Bamutia police station was jointly raided by the Bamutia police station and the airport police station police.
Although no one was arrested in this operation, the police seized an auto used for the transportation of Bangladeshi citizens and took it to the airport.
Suman Singh, the officer in charge of the airport police station gave details about the identification of the Bangladeshi nationals detained at the police station.
