AGARTALA, May 10 (TIWN): Hospital staff’s negligence pushed a baby towards danger, as a child was injected Polio four times instead of twice. It is alleged that without noticing the Polio Certificate the baby was jabbed fourth time in a row. However, the staff denied the matter but the other Doctors present in the Hospital admitted that the baby was jabbed 4th times. Later the Doctor checked the baby and asked the family to bring the baby to the Hospital immediately if any incident happens.
Doctor Ranjan Debbarma said that the inquiry committee will be held in this incident and if hospital staff is found guilty, then action will be taken accordingly. Oppositely, the baby’s mother said that she will file a case against the Hospital staff.
Centering the incident, chaos has been generated on the hospital premises.
