AGARTALA, May 9 (TIWN): Water Scarcity hits at Boys Hostel Road in Ward No. 3 under Saraspur Panchayat, Kadamtala. Centering the Water scarcity, the women in the groups blocked Boys Hostel Road. With huge angst a woman said that for the last 2-3 months the local people are not getting drinking water, the matter was reported to the Panchayat Pradhan and the Members but nothing has happened. The woman stated that public from Kadamtala Bazar and in other areas are getting drinking water except the locals of Amtilla Saraspur.

With huge angst, the local women stated that they will not withdraw their Road blockade until they are getting drinking water and the water scarcity issue be solved. It is reported that around 15-20 families in the area are being deprived from getting drinking water facilities.

Now it is to be seen when the local authority will take the initiative to solve the drinking water crisis.
