AGARTALA, May 8 (TIWN): Congress placed deputation to NFR ZONE in Guwahati demanding establishment of Railway Division in Dharmanagar.

A delegation members of Tripura Pradesh Congress Committee placed deputation to the NFR ZONE in Guwahati on Monday with a view to connecting the areas of Tripura state which are not yet connected by railways by laying alternative railway lines and making a railway division at Dharmanagar in North Tripura District.

Tripura Pradesh Congress President and MLA of Tripura Assembly Birajit Sinha along with Congress MLA Shri Gopal Chandra Roy were present during the deputation.  Also, Sushant Chakraborty, student leader Samrat Roy and other leaders were present.
