AGARTALA, May 6 (TIWN): Agartala Tripura Medical College and Dr. BR Ambedkar Memorial Teaching Hospital (TMC) Dr. Anirudh Basak successfully operated on two tumors below the tongue of a seven-day-old baby.
The child was not able to drink his mother's milk since his birth.
Dr. Aniruddha Basak said that after the successful operation, the child will be able to drink mother's milk again.
Such kind of operation has been done for the first time in Tripura at Tripura Medical College.
Parents of the baby have thanked the Doctor for saving their baby’s life.
