AGARTALA, April 19 (TIWN): Chaos was generated in Ration Shop-22 in in Baluchhara area under 29 Krishnapur Assembly Constituency under Teliyamura sub-division raising demand to change the Ration shop dealer. Later, to control the situation, the police reached the incident spot.

According to the details of the incident, Sanjit Biswas and his family have been running the Ration shop number 22 of Balucchara area in Teliamura for a long time. After the formation of BJP Govt in 2018, despite all Ration Shop dealers were changed Sanjit Biswas wasn’t changed. It is said, the Ration Shop dealer Sanjit Biswas wasn’t changed and was in stable Position due to his good bonding with local leaders. On the other hand, the residents of the area complained that Sanjit Biswas is running the ration shop with corruption for a long time, and the concerned ration dealer is accused of not delivering the goods on time, ignoring the instructions of the department.

While talking to the media, the locals complained, for a long time the Ration Shop has been managed unethically or without following the government rules and regulations, and Sanjit Biswas, the dealer of ration shop number 22, has remained on the ration by managing some of the local leaders in an exchange of money, as a result, the local consumers have been suffering, allegedly.
