AGARTALA, April 19 (TIWN): 27 years old man committed suicide after not getting money to take drugs. The incident took place in Subhash Colony area under Shantibazar PS. It is reported that Ratan Dey, a 27 years old man has committed suicide on Tuesday night when the other members in the family were having dinner. Before he committed suicide, he demanded Rs 200 to his mother but her mother refused to give the amount to him.

Ratan Dey’s hanging body was first witnessed by his father. Immediately he was taken to Shantir Bazar Hospital by Fire Department’s Personnel and later he was referred to Agartala GB Hospital and he died during treatment.

It is reported that he left his child and wife behind.
